FAQ

What is the purpose of the lens simulator?

The lens simulator allows you to explore how different focal lengths and apertures affect your composition the depth of field and bokeh. It is a tool to help you understand the effects of different lenses and how they can be used to create different looks in your photography. It allows you to compare different camera systems based on realistic raytraced scenes.

How does the lens simulator work?

Textured 3d scenes are loaded and rendered with raytracing. The camera and lens settings are then applied to the scene to show you what the scene would look like through your lens.
